This notice explains measurement on derma9.ca and your cookie choices. Booking information is used to provide your requested appointment; shop orders follow the shop privacy policy.
Cookies and measurement
Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta help measure website use and advertising. In Canada outside Quebec and other regions outside the EU, UK and Switzerland, these tools can start on your first page view before you press a button. The notice stays visible until you choose. You can decline anytime in Cookie settings.
Regional choices
In Quebec, the EU, UK and Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies start only after Allow. Before you choose, Google receives cookieless measurement signals under Consent Mode v2; Meta does not load. These signals are not a guarantee of anonymity. Our hosting provider supplies country and region headers. If the country header is entirely absent, or the region service cannot be reached, this opt-in default also applies. A present but unrecognised country code, or Canada without a province, uses the opt-out default.
Changing your choice
Allow or Decline is remembered for up to 12 months in a cookie and browser storage. Decline stops future Google and Meta measurement on this site, removes accessible analytics and advertising cookies, and reloads the page if needed to unload those tools. It does not erase information already received by providers. Booking and essential website functions remain available.
The clinic and shop
An explicit choice opens a small shop cookie-settings window to save analytics and advertising consent with Shopify. Allow this window to complete before entering the shop. If saving fails, the notice offers a retry and shop links wait. The shop can also collect its own choice; a saved shop refusal is respected when you return here. With no button press, this site does not silently submit an Allow to Shopify; its native notice may still ask. Cookie choices do not subscribe you to marketing messages.
Data used for measurement
Page visits and limited booking steps or confirmed-booking events help measure use and conversions. Patient names, contact details, dates of birth, treatment names and appointment details are not added to our booking analytics parameters. A booking optimization value is not a payment. Merchandise and purchase events are handled by the shop integration. Tracking providers may still receive technical information such as page URLs and network details; visiting treatment pages can reveal interests.
Providers and privacy
Google, Meta and Shopify process information under their own privacy terms and may process it outside Canada. Regional defaults describe how this site operates; they are not a statement that every use of health-related information is permitted.
